About the Role Owen Motor Group, Inc. is looking for a passionate and driven Motorsports Sales Associate to join our team in Charleston, IL! As a Motorsports Sales Associate, you will grow our customer base by identifying potential customers, keeping in touch with existing customers, and making sure that everyone has a positive purchasing experience. You will greet guests and build rapport, answer questions about vehicles, and facilitate test drives/rides. Mentorship programs, ongoing education, competitive bonuses, and opportunity for growth are available to our sales associates. This is a great position for someone with strong interpersonal skills and sales experience. Responsibilities Greet customers as they arrive at the dealership Create a professional environment that builds rapport and puts customers at ease Assist customers in selecting motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, or other motorsports vehicles that meet their needs and budget Build and maintain strong customer relationships to drive repeat business and referrals Present and demonstrate motorsports vehicle features, specifications, and performance capabilities Conduct test drives/rides Negotiate sales contracts and financing options with customers while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly individual sales targets Stay current on new inventory, manufacturer promotions, and industry trends Collaborate with the service and finance departments to ensure a seamless customer experience Use CRM software to maintain a customer database you will use to drive sales Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent is required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred Previous sales experience, preferably in motorsports, powersports, or automotive retail is preferred Genuine passion for motorsports, powersports, or recreational vehicles Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset and ability to work independently Proficiency with CRM software and basic computer applications Valid state-issued driver's license and clean driving record are required (Class M Endorsement is a PLUS!)
