The Digitas culture is made up of fearless, inventive and generous Unicorns of all kinds. This role at Digitas will serve as a member of Publicis Groupe’s strategic internal agency, Constellation. Constellation serves as an internal-facing brand formed by a collective of Publicis Groupe agencies to address our client’s creative, data, strategy, media, and technology requirements. Team members collaborate across agencies while functioning as sub-divisions within their respective brands to provide dedicated support for the client. By acting as a unified interface, Constellation eliminates operational silos and presents a single service entity and primary point of contact for the client. Overview By implementing conceptual data frameworks and developing marketing science solutions, The Associate Director, Data Science is a key partner for our client and internal teams. In this role, you will show thought leadership in bringing innovative data science methodologies that answer our client’s marketing and strategy questions. Responsibilities Client & Business Impact Serve as a strategic advisor to clients and internal stakeholders on data science applications and approaches Translate analytical work into clear business value and actionable recommendations Identify opportunities to expand data science impact and contribute to organic account growth Project & Cross-Capability Leadership Lead multiple concurrent data science projects across clients and capabilities with varying complexity Define project approach, manage risks, and align stakeholders on priorities and outcomes Partner across media, strategy, analytics, and technology teams to deliver integrated solutions Represent data science across cross-functional initiatives and client engagements Thought Leadership & Innovation Provide a clear point of view on statistical methods, machine learning, and measurement approaches Evaluate, develop, and socialize new methodologies, tools, and AI-driven solutions Apply innovative thinking to solve complex marketing and business problems Team Leadership & Culture Mentor and develop junior team members through coaching and feedback Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team environment Contribute to capability development, training, and best practices Qualifications 7–9 years of experience in data science, analytics, or marketing science within an agency, consulting, or technology environment Strong foundation in statistical modeling, machine learning, causal inference, and experimental design Proficiency in SQL, Python and/or R; experience with distributed systems or large-scale data processing preferred Experience with Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM), attribution, and incrementality measurement Hands‘on experience with cloud platforms (preferably GCP: BigQuery, Looker, DataProc) and deploying data science solutions Strong understanding of modern AI/ML approaches and their practical applications Proven ability to connect data science solutions to business outcomes and client value Demonstrated experience leading multiple projects and influencing cross-functional teams Experience managing and developing data science talent Excellent communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex concepts for a range of audiences Comfortable navigating ambiguity in fast-paced, evolving environments Additional information Our Publicis Groupe motto "Viva LaDifférence" means we’re better together, and we believe that our differences make us stronger. This is the pay range that the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
