Senior Mechanical Engineer – Commercial HVAC & Plumbing
Chicago, Illinois | $150,000–$170,000/year
Lead the design of commercial building systems that support functional, reliable spaces. Take ownership of mechanical and plumbing design quality while shaping project outcomes and guiding engineering teams.

Lead mechanical design projects and represent the discipline in client meetings.
Direct HVAC and plumbing system selection, design documentation, and quality control.
Develop project work plans and coordinate designs with other disciplines.
Guide engineers and designers, maintain design standards, and support construction through submittal reviews and responses to requests for information.
8+ years of focused mechanical and plumbing design experience.
Professional Engineer (PE) license in Mechanical Engineering.
Commercial project design and documentation experience.
Proficiency in Revit, Microsoft Office, and Trane TRACE load calculation software.
Strong client communication and presentation skills.
