Dietitian

Pride Health is seeking a qualified and experienced Registered Dietitian to join a multidisciplinary healthcare team at Port Charlotte, FL 33949 . The ideal candidate will have experience working with adult patient populations and demonstrate the ability to deliver evidence-based nutritional care in a fast-paced acute care setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and implement individualized nutrition care plans for patients
• Provide medical nutrition therapy for acute and chronic conditions
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting nutrition plans as needed
• Educate patients and families on dietary needs and overall wellness
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies
• Participate in weekend and holiday rotation schedules as required
• Patient Population: Adult patients in an acute care hospital setting

Required Qualifications:

• Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential
• Active Florida licensure (if required)
• Minimum 1 year of hospital experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in acute care settings
• Familiarity with therapeutic diets and nutrition support protocols

Additional Details:

• Location: Port Charlotte, FL 33949
• Schedule: Day Shift (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
• Contract Length: 13 Weeks (91 Days)
• Open Positions: 1
• Traveler will be scheduled in accordance with facility policy and is expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.
• Parking available on the 3rd or 4th floor of the parking garage for AM & PM shifts.
• No local candidates within 50 miles

Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
