• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,950 - $2,280 (travel nurse pay)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (June 15 - September 12, 2026)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM)
• Shifts per Week: 3
• Hours per Week: 36
• Location: On-site at a leading hospital in Katy, TX 77494 - Katy healthcare / Texas nursing jobs
• Uniform: Dark Gray Scrubs

Job Requirements

• Active RN license in the state of Texas or a valid multistate (compact) RN license
• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room (ER) / Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience
• BLS certification required
• Resume, Relias Behavioral Assessment, and Skills Checklist required for submission
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and thrive in a fast-paced emergency care environment

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a busy Emergency Department as an ER Registered Nurse / Travel RN
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver high-quality care using the nursing process
• Conduct nursing assessments, triage patients, assist with exams and emergency treatments
• Administer medications, perform IV therapy, and monitor patient status while maintaining accurate medical records
• Provide patient and family education, patient stabilization, and crisis intervention as needed
• Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols in the Emergency Department
