This travel X-Ray Tech job in Lenexa, KS with Advantis Medical is a 13-week travel X-Ray Tech contract at Overland Park Regional Medical Center. Responsibilities
- Perform ordered diagnostic X-ray exams across the assigned caseload
- Position patients and operate radiographic equipment, adjusting technique and collimation for each study
- Apply radiation-safety practices, including exposure optimization and ALARA principles
- Critique images for positioning and exposure quality, minimizing repeat exposures, and provide completed studies to radiologists
Travel X-Ray Tech Requirements:
- 2+ years of recent X-Ray Tech experience.
- Must hold all required certifications and licenses as mandated by Kansas and national regulatory bodies.
