About You

Are you a fun-loving, experienced early childhood educator who believes in the power of play and patience? We’re looking for an Assistant Teacher to join our preschool classroom (12 - 18 months) , where curiosity is constant and every day brings something new.

If you have two or more years of experience working with young children in a licensed childcare setting , a strong understanding of developmentally appropriate practice , and a calm, compassionate approach to behavior guidance , we’d love to meet you.

A Typical Day

• Along with the Lead Teacher, supervise a group of up to 12 children at all times
• Provide positive guidance to help children learn to self-regulate and manage emotions
• Support Lead Teacher in carrying out daily activities
• Assist lead teacher in the daily care routine including diaper changing, helping with potty learning, and serving meals and snacks

Skills For Success

• Two or more years of experience in a licensed childcare center
• High School diploma required, CDA, associate or bachelor’s degree, preferred
• Ability to engage with and manage a group of up to 12 preschoolers in a developmentally appropriate manner, patience, flexibility, and desire to play and have fun
• First Aid/CPR certification required, Child Development Associate (CDA) a plus
