Job Summary:
This Medical Surgical Floor nursing position is based in a healthcare organization in a day shift schedule. It involves providing patient care on a Medical Surgical unit, adhering to established clinical protocols and standards. The role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment supporting patient recovery and wellness.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), at least 1 year of experience in a Medical Surgical setting, and the ability to work in the specified location
- Preferred Qualifications: Additional certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) are advantageous
- Float: Float rotation may be required
- Additional Information: Responsibilities include patient assessments, medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and collaborating with healthcare team members. The role requires compliance with hospital policies and clinical SOPs.
