Overview Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital proudly serves the health care needs of families in St. Charles Lincoln and Warren counties. The 102-bed community hospital provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services including the Siteman Cancer Center at Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital the Breast Health and Womens Center the Cardiology Center the Neurosurgery Center and the Outpatient Surgery and Endoscopy Center. Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital is an Accredited Chest Pain Center and carries a Level II stroke certification. Additionally the hospitals medical office building houses offices for specialists in primary care cardiology obstetrics dermatology surgery and pulmonology. Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital also offers outpatient services including physical therapy a sleep lab and cardio-pulmonary rehabilitation.

Imaging Services department provides the following services: General Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology Digital Mammography CT Scan Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Nuclear Medicine Ultrasound PET/CT Scan

Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose The Registered Diagnostic Sonographer performs ultrasound imaging including but not limited to abdominal small parts and obstetrical to adult and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders and assist with needle procedures (i.e. biopsies drainages needle placements etc.). May also perform vascular imaging

Responsibilities

• Ensures proper function and readiness of all equipment.
• Performs ultrasound imaging examinations and ensures proper documentation of procedures.
• Performs studies independently may perform studies on-call portable exams and at other sites as required by work area.

Minimum Requirements

Education Associate or Trade School Equi Experience No Experience Supervisor Experience No Experience Licenses & Certifications RDMS or equiv

Experience 2 years Licenses & Certifications Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation RDCS or equiv
