Position Overview

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography (CT) within an acute care setting. This role involves performing X-rays, CT scans, and providing essential services during weekends.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform X-ray and CT scans on patients across various age groups, including infants, children, adults, and geriatrics.
• Administer and prepare contrast media as necessary for imaging procedures.
• Ensure high-quality imaging through advanced techniques such as 3D rendering, maximum intensity projection, and multiplanar reconstruction.
• Comply with safety standards for radiation protection and infection control.
• Document patient information and imaging results accurately using the Epic charting system.
• Participate in interdisciplinary support with medical staff in the radiology department.
• Maintain patient comfort and safety during procedures.

Requirements

• Must be a Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) with a valid ARRT Radiography certification.
• Must possess a Radiology Fluoroscopy License.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 30 days of hire.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital acute care setting is required.

Skills and Experience

• Proficiency in advanced imaging techniques including CT arthrography, coronary CTA, and biopsies.
• Experience with various patient procedures such as brain perfusion studies, colonography, and IV pyelograms.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and experience utilizing the Epic charting system.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and provide exceptional patient care.

Work Schedule

This position requires a variable shift schedule of 5x8 hours, with potential shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, including rotating weekends.
