Supported by advanced training and cutting-edge technology, you’ll grow as an educator and find purpose in helping pilots excel, no matter the challenges they face. **CAE Instructor Pilots - All for the pursuit of aviation excellence.** ## **Key responsibilities include:*** Deliver flight simulator and ground school training in alignment with regulatory requirements, CAE curriculum, and customer expectations.* Conduct professional, comprehensive pre‐ and post‐flight simulator briefings.* Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for client training and internal course development.* Perform administrative duties such as completing training records, maintaining instructional qualifications, and recommending remedial training when needed.* Provide instruction across one or more aircraft types for licenses, type ratings, certificates, and internal qualifications.* After approximately 1.5+ years (subject to business need), qualify as a Training Center Evaluator (TCE) and customer contract check airman.## **Physical Requirements*** Constantly ascend/descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and poles.* Occasionally move into different positions, including confined spaces.* Remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods (standing or sitting).* Occasionally move about to accomplish tasks.* Occasionally adjust or move objects up to 20 lbs.* Occasionally perform repetitive motions involving wrists, hands, or fingers.## **Minimum Qualifications*** Unrestricted ATP certificate **or** completion of ATP Written.* Unrestricted PIC Type Rating preferred.* FAR Part 135 experience and 3,000+ total flight hours preferred.* Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and internet‐based programs.* Participation in CAE’s DOT Drug & Alcohol testing program.* Experience flying business aircraft highly desired.* Strong communication skills and a passion for teaching.* Must be authorized to work in the United States.## **Preferred Qualifications*** Prior instructional or training experience.* Ability to tailor training content to a diverse customer base.* Strong attention to detail with commitment to accurate recordkeeping in accordance with CAE and FAA standards.* Demonstrated customer‐service mindset and ability to create a positive learning environment.* Professional character with strong verbal and written communication skills.## **Benefits*** Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and EAP coverage (full‐time employees).* 401(k) with employer match and Employee Stock Purchase Program.* Flexible vacation policy and paid holidays, including December 25–January 1.* Global parental leave and enhanced paid maternity leave in the U.S. and Canada.* Company‐paid life, AD&D, short‐term disability, and caregiver support.* Additional voluntary benefits including legal coverage, dependent life, pet insurance, and FSA options.* Access to cutting‐edge technology and diverse teaching opportunities.* Opportunity to remain active in the flight deck while maintaining work‐life balance.* Professional growth through CAE’s comprehensive Instructor development program. **What to expect:** CAE offers a comprehensive training program to help transform your knowledge and skills as a pilot into a world-class Instructor and subject matter expert ready to lead clients through their training. **E-Verify**As a Federal Contractor, CAE is required to participate in the E-Verify Program to confirm eligibility to work in the United States.
