Registered Nurse – ICULubbock, TX | Acute CareContract | Days | 3×12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:00) | OnsiteKey ResponsibilitiesProvide direct patient care in an intensive care unit setting within a Level II Trauma Center at a short-term acute care facilityManage patients requiring advanced interventions including ventilator management, chest tubes, central venous lines (CVL), and external ventricular drains (EVD)Support patients requiring cardiovascular surgery and neurosurgery carePerform and interpret laboratory values to guide clinical decision-makingFloat between units as needed to support staffing requirements across the facilityCommit to weekend shifts (approximately 6 per contract period) and work 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)Required QualificationsActive RN license required; compact license must be in hand at time of submissionMinimum of 1 year of ICU experience requiredPrior travel nursing experience requiredExperience with CV surgery, trauma, ventilators, chest tubes, CVL, EVDs, and neurosurgery patientsMust live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a standard traveler (locals may be considered under separate terms)Must be able to commit to all RTO and scheduling requests upfront at time of submission; post-submission RTO requests may not be accommodatedPreferred Experience / SkillsExperience in a Level II Trauma Center or similarly complex acute care environmentFamiliarity with neurosurgical and cardiovascular surgical patient populationsStrong lab interpretation skills in a critical care contextWhy Join UsOpportunity to work in a high-acuity ICU environment at a large, well-established acute care facility with a Level II Trauma designationExpected patient ratios of 1:2, supporting quality care delivery in a structured critical care setting
