Job Description

Pier Cleaners is seeking a reliable, punctual, and friendly Part-Time Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be the crucial link between our main processing facility, our retail stores, and our commercial clients. You will ensure that freshly cleaned garments and wash-and-fold orders are delivered safely and efficiently, while collecting incoming items to be serviced.

This position is perfect for someone looking for steady, morning-only hours with a stable Monday through Friday schedule.

Key Responsibilities

Pickup & Delivery: Drive a company-provided delivery van to transport finished garments and wash-and-fold orders to various Pier Cleaners retail stores and commercial accounts. Collect dirty laundry and garments from these locations to bring back to the main plant for cleaning.
Loading & Unloading: Efficiently load the delivery van in an organized manner to prevent wrinkling or damage to garments. Regularly get in and out of the van to execute deliveries.
Customer Service: Act as a professional, polite, and helpful representative of Pier Cleaners when interacting with store staff and commercial clients.
Qualifications & Requirements
Schedule: Must be available to work Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM.
Driving Record: Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean, safe driving record.
Background Check: Must be able to successfully pass a standard criminal background check.
Point of Sale - utilize a mobile point of sale system and handheld scanner
Physical Demands: * Ability to frequently step in and out of a delivery van throughout the morning.
- Ability to repetitively lift, carry, and maneuver laundry bags and garment racks weighing up to 40 lbs .
Skills: Excellent time management skills, strong attention to detail, and a dependable work ethic.
