Job TitleSchedule: Hours TBDClean dishes used in restaurant and kitchen and keep kitchen clear of garbage and hazardous clutter. This position works in close collaboration with colleagues and follow established health and safety standards. The goal is to accelerate our business development by providing customers with a memorable experience.Duties and Essential FunctionsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Keep restaurant dishes, kitchen pots, pans and utensils cleanBe proficient using the dishwashing equipment available in the kitchenSweep kitchen floors and wipe down counters in cooking work areaWipe down cooking equipment used by chefs for food preparationTake out trashReturn all cleaned dishes and utensils to their appropriate storage areaCheck cleanliness quality of washed dishes prior to storingApproach all interactions with residents, guests and co-workers in a positive and courteous mannerSupervisionThis position reports to the Chef de Cuisine and takes direction from the Chef de Cuisine and the Food & Beverage Manager.Work EnvironmentKitchen environment can be hot, noisy and stressful, especially during the busiest hoursDishwasher creates very hot water and steamAdhere to dress code identified by Chef de Cuisine to ensure a safe and efficient work atmosphereHours of operation include nights, weekends and holidaysPhysical DemandsMust be able to stand throughout shift. Possess excellent physical condition and staminaMust be able to reach, bend, kneel, climb, push, pull or lift items weighing up to 30 poundsRequires auditory and visual skills, and the ability to follow written or oral instructions and proceduresAbility to work quickly and efficiently while getting along with co-workersPosition Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a non-exempt position.
