Junior Data Quality & Document Management Associate Location: Marlborough, MA 01752 Work Schedule: Hybrid – Onsite Tuesdays only Pay Rate: $21.05–$21.78/hour Contract Position Experience: 1–5 years Degree Required: No Start Date: ASAP / Targeting October 12 The Fountain Group is hiring a Data Quality & Document Management Associate for a prominent client in Marlborough, MA. This is a junior-level opportunity supporting a post-go-live data validation and cleanup initiative. The primary focus of this role is reviewing migrated records and documents to ensure information in a new system is complete, accurate, properly categorized, and correctly linked. Candidates with experience in data review, document management, records management, content migration, contract administration, or detail-oriented administrative support are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Review records in a new system to identify missing documents, incomplete information, and data quality issues. Compare migrated records against source data in legacy systems to validate completeness and accuracy. Locate missing documents in legacy repositories and upload them to the appropriate records in the new system. Verify that document metadata accurately reflects associated attachments and business records. Correct metadata discrepancies, including document titles, categories, dates, ownership, and other key attributes. Perform quality assurance reviews to ensure uploaded documents are correctly linked and accessible. Track and document data quality findings, remediation activities, and completion status. Escalate complex issues, system defects, or unresolved data discrepancies to project leads and system administrators. Qualifications 1–5 years of experience in data quality, document management, records management, content migration, administrative support, or a related area. Experience reviewing and validating large volumes of data or documents with a high degree of accuracy. Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify inconsistencies across systems and records. Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks independently. Comfortable learning and navigating new systems, including document or contract repository systems. Experience with enterprise applications, databases, document repositories, or content management systems. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word. Strong written and verbal communication skills. No college degree required. Preferred Experience Experience reviewing contract documents or contract-related data. Experience with contract repositories or records management processes. Experience with Sievo or GEP Quantum . Experience with metadata review, data cleanup, data migration, or document validation. You should be comfortable reviewing data and metadata, working through a high volume of records, learning unfamiliar systems, and independently managing assigned validation and cleanup tasks. Industry experience is flexible; retail experience is not required . This is a contract-only opportunity and is not currently expected to extend beyond the scheduled assignment.
