CDL-A Local Truck Driver Savannah, GA

Job Description

CDL-A Local Truck Driver - Savannah, GA \n
$1,200-$1,500/Week | Home Daily | Zero Slow Season \n
Tired of the port swings? So are we - that's why we don't run through them. \n
\nIf you're hauling out of Savannah right now, you know the drill: one week you're stacked with hours, the next week the freight dries up and so does your paycheck.\n
\nWe built our operation specifically so that doesn't happen to our drivers.\n
\nFirstFleet Savannah runs dedicated bakery freight for a customer we've had for 30+ years . Bread is a commodity. People buy it every week of the year. That means consistent volume, year-round freight, and no seasonal cliff. \n
\nNo port congestion. No seasonal swings. No guessing what your check looks like next Friday.\n
\nWhy Drivers Are Choosing FirstFleet\n
Real Money, Every Week \n
$1,200-$1,500/week average gross pay - not a lowball number to get you in the door. That's what our drivers actually average, and our pay structure is built so you don't have to be a superhuman to earn it.\n
Home Daily. Actually Daily. \n
\nRegular AM dispatch, late-model automatic day cabs, and you sleep in your own bed every night.\n
We Promote From Within - On Purpose \n
\nMore than 60 of our current managers started as FirstFleet drivers. This year, two of our drivers moved into supervisor positions , while another went on to a prestigious driving position with a hall of fame country music star that we provide tour service for. \n
\nIf you want to drive and only drive, that's great - we'll take care of you. If you want more, we'll help you find the path to get there.\n
Stability You Can Plan Your Life Around \n
\nWe've served the same customer for more than 30 years. Bread doesn't have a slow season, and neither do we.\n
