Job Title: Service Technician                                                                 

Position summary: Oklahoma based subcontractor seeking qualified skilled labor service technician. Experience with operable partitions and/or rolling steel doors preferred.  Commercial construction experience is preferred. Low voltage basic electrical knowledge is a plus.

Type of Work Description:

• Annual rolling, steel, fire-rated, and non-rated door inspections and repairs.
• Annual inspection and repairs of side swing fire doors.
• Annual tornado resistant coiling door inspection and repair.
• Operable partition annual maintenance and repair.
• Annual smoke curtain inspections and repairs.
• Annual trash and linen chute inspections and repair.
• Raised access floor cleaning and re-leveling.
• Annual aircraft hangar door maintenance and repairs.
• Sectional door repair.

Position competencies: 

• Strong Work ethic.

·         Developing a positive rapport with customer is a must.

• Experience using laser, saws, tape measures, etc.
• Ability to fill out inspection reports with iPad.
• Fall protection trained/certified.
• Able to lift 50lbs-75lbs.
• OSHA 10 and or OSHA 30 certification a plus.
• Dependable and punctual.
• Maintain professional appearance and grooming, uniform will be provided and must be worn daily
• High quality of work and able to meet high expectations.

Job mandates:

• Need valid DL.
• Smartphone required, (we pay you an allowance for this)
• No felonies, (must be able to work in schools, military establishments, and health care facilities).
• Must be able to pass drug screen and background check always.
• Overnight stay required at times. (if so per diem will be issued)
• Occasional on-call work afterhours in the future could be necessary as program develops. (additional compensation will be provided for these instances)

Pay Rate:

·         $19.00 per hour or more based on experience.

·         Compensation: TBD

·         401K- Company does have a match program of 3% (must work for company 60 days before activation)

·         Healthcare- 50% of employee's premium covered (Aetna) You will be eligible for benefits after you have worked 60 days.

·         Vacation – you will accrual a day of vacation for every two months worked after your first two months for the first year.  This will be explained more, but in short, you will receive 5 days of vacation in the first year.  After that you will follow company policy.  Start of the second year, you get 2 weeks’ vacation.

·         3 paid sick days per year.

·         8 paid holidays

·         $25,000 life insurance policy.

·         Dental and Vision insurance available.

·         Long Term disability, paid by Burgess.

·         Short Term disability is a preference by you, this ranges as a monthly premium from $8-$36 per month out of your check

·         Company vehicle provided.
