Travel Operating Room RN - $2,773 per week

The Good Life MedStaff is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Sterling, Illinois. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Travel RN – OR - ASAP Start due to ending a travele 13 weeks 10 hour shifts (M-F) We are looking for an RN for the Operating Room. CGH is a small rural hospital with 7 ORs that include a c-section suite and an endovascular suite. We do about 1-2 c-sections per week, about 6 endovascular cases per week and we also do 20-25 cataracts per week. Along with your regular service lines: General Urology ENT Podiatry Gyne Ortho (do ortho about 4 days per week) You would work M-F and take call a couple nights a week and every 4th or 5th weekend. We chart some in Epic but most of our charting is still paper. We are a fast paced OR that starts surgery at 0730 and runs until about 1530 daily. We are hiring a traveler to help us get these cases completed in a timely manner and help cover our call schedule. You can expect to get your breaks, but you will be in a room for the better part of your shift. If you have big cases, you will come in about 6:15 or 0630…otherwise everyone comes in at 0700.
