Randstad Accounting & Finance is partnering with a thriving, high-growth organization in the Las Vegas market to find a detail-oriented, full-cycle Accounts Payable Specialist to join their dynamic finance team.

Key Responsibilities

• High-Volume Invoice Processing: Review, code, and enter vendor invoices with precision, utilizing 3-way matching (Invoice, Purchase Order, and Receiving Report).
• Payment Cycles: Prepare and execute weekly payment runs across multiple channels including ACH, wire transfers, checks, and credit card payments.
• Vendor Management: Onboard new vendors, collect Form W-9s, maintain clean master records, and resolve billing discrepancies or inquiries promptly.
• Expense & Credit Cards: Audit and process employee expense reports and corporate credit card statements for compliance with travel and entertainment (T&E) policies.
• Month-End Close Support: Assist with closing activities by preparing AP accruals, reconciling vendor statements, and balancing the AP aging report to the general ledger.
• Compliance & Tax: Maintain strict adherence to internal financial controls and assist with the preparation and filing of annual 1099 tax forms.

What We Are Looking For

• Foundational knowledge of full-cycle accounts payable procedures.
• Prior experience managing high-volume data entry and 3-way matching workflows.
• Comfort navigating ERP accounting systems and processing multi-channel payment runs.
• Excellent communication skills for handling vendor relations and internal expense tracking.

Responsibilities

• Invoice Processing: Review, code, and enter a high volume of vendor invoices with accuracy, ensuring proper 3-way matching (Invoice, Purchase Order, and Receiving Report).
• Payment Cycles: Prepare and execute weekly payment runs (ACH, wire transfers, checks, and credit card payments) in accordance with company policy.
• Vendor Management: Maintain accurate vendor records, set up new vendor profiles, collect Form W-9s, and promptly resolve billing discrepancies or payment inquiries.
• Expense Reports: Audit and process employee expense reports and corporate credit card statements, ensuring compliance with the company travel and entertainment policy.
• Month-End Support: Assist with month-end closing activities, including preparing AP accruals, reconciling vendor statements, and balancing the AP aging report to the general ledger.
• Compliance & Tax: Assist with the preparation and filing of annual 1099 tax forms and ensure compliance with internal financial controls.
