Royal Community Supports is looking for a self-motivated, energetic Direct Support Professional to support an individual who lives Mine Hill, New Jersey

Morris County/Mine Hill - Direct Support Professional (DSP) needed to companionship and transportation to local store/restaurants.  Direct Support Professional (DSP) will need to assist individual with making purchases (as requested), comparing prices, etc.  DSP will also be responsible to provide some in-home companionship - favorite shows are Little House on the Prairie, The Waltons, so a Direct Support Professional (DSP) who enjoys 70s television and who can relate to a retiree is ideal.  The individual is very autonomous; Direct Support Professional (DSP)  needs to be respectful and appreciate boundaries.  Individual owns 2 small dogs; Direct Support Professional (DSP) needs to be okay with dogs.  Perfect Direct Support Professional (DSP)  position for the experienced DSP looking for P/T day time hours. $26.50/hr

Schedule of Services:

M, W, F 10-3 (days of week flexible for the right DSP)

Qualifications:

Must be able to recognize that disability is a label and not a description

Must be 18 years old or older

Minimum of a High school diploma or equivalent

Must have a car

Must have valid driver's license and good driving record

Must be willing to have a background check

Must be willing to take a drug screening

Must be authorized to legally work in the United States

Starting Pay Rate:

$26.50 per hour
