Enchanted Oven LLC is looking for a passionate and skilled Baker to join our team in Ann Arbor, MI! If you love the art of baking and take pride in crafting delicious, high-quality goods, this is the perfect opportunity to bring your talents to a place where creativity and craftsmanship are celebrated every day. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods from scratch
- Follow and execute recipes with precision while maintaining consistent quality and presentation
- Monitor oven temperatures, baking times, and product appearance to ensure optimal results
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment in compliance with food safety standards
- Manage ingredient inventory, stock rotation, and communicate supply needs to management
- Assist with decorating, finishing, and packaging baked products for display and sale
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and customer demand
- Prior experience in a professional bakery, kitchen, or food production environment preferred
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Ability to work early morning, weekend, shifts as needed
- Food handler certification or willingness to obtain one upon hire
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistent product quality
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Dependable, team-oriented, and passionate about the craft of baking
