Senior Reliability, Maintainability & System Health Engineer Company: The Boeing Company Location: Oklahoma City, OK. This position is 100% onsite. Security Clearance: Requires U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. Secret clearance post‑start. Position Responsibilities Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify complex lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions. Evaluates customer and operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters, and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces. Performs various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture. Conducts analyses for reliability, maintainability, diagnostics, system health, testability, and other quality factors to ensure mission success. Develops, maintains, and identifies improvements for the planning, organization, implementation, and monitoring of RMSH processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management, and technology readiness assessment processes. Resolves cross‑functional technical issues. Develops advanced technical ideas and guides their development into a final product. Provides mentorship to junior RMSH engineers. Basic Qualifications Bachelor of Science degree (engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science). 14+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, Reliability, Maintainability and System Health, or System Safety disciplines. Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and related applications. Excellent communication and writing skills. Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams at multiple organizational levels in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment. Critical thinking skills and capacity to work in an agile, flexible team environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience using the Systems Engineering V and implementing a System onto a product. 10+ years of experience in Reliability, Maintainability and System Health or System Safety. 10+ years of experience with Failure Mode Effect Analysis, Reliability & Maintainability Predictions, and/or Reliability Testing activities. Master’s degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Systems Engineering or related disciplines. 10+ years of experience with Reliability and Maintainability engineering principles. 3+ years of software development experience. Experience with systems modeling, including the use of Model Based Systems Engineering software. Ability to lead by influence outside formal reporting relationships.
