Loan Closer

CSP is partnering with a privately held real estate lender in their search for a Loan Closer. This individual will be an integral member of the team, responsible for preparing, verifying, and finalizing loan packages before disbursement of funds. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments to ensure the timely closing of loans.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and verify loan documents for completeness and accuracy.

Coordinate with loan officers, underwriters, title companies and borrowers to obtain any missing documentation or clarification.

Prepare closing packages in accordance with lender guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Schedule and facilitate the closing process, ensuring all parties are informed of their roles and responsibilities.

Ensure the accurate disbursement of loan proceeds.

Confirm all necessary documents are signed, notarized, and returned promptly.

Resolve any issues or discrepancies identified prior to, during, or post-closing.

Update and maintain accurate records in the company provided customer relationship manager (CRM) system.

Stay updated with the latest industry standards, trends, and regulatory changes.

Qualifications:

A minimum of two (2) years experience as a Loan Closer or in a related role.

Proficient knowledge of state and federal regulations related to real estate lending.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Proficiency with technology software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously.

Familiarity with private money lending practices is a plus.
