PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE IN A LAW FIRM!!! This is a full-time on-site Legal Assistant/Paralegal role located in Garden City, NY. This is a role for a full-time EXPERIENCED IN-PERSON Paralegal/Legal Assistant. The Paralegal/Legal Assistant will be responsible for legal document preparation, communication with clients and attorneys, reviewing documents, filing e-courts, etc.
We are seeking a well-organized, motivated, responsible and detail-oriented Legal Assistant/Paralegal with at least two (2) years' experience in no-fault, real estate and/or litigation law. The successful candidate will have strong multi-tasking and writing skills, as well as excellent time management abilities. The candidate must have superior organizational skills, an attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. We're looking for someone highly skilled in a variety of platforms including Microsoft Word and Outlook. Competitive salary and benefits commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities:
- Drafting pleadings based upon the procedures of NYS Courts.
- Coordinating multiple calendars for attorneys and covering virtual calendars
- Assembling motions, discovery documents and correspondence
- Uploading such documents to E-Filing and NYSCEF
- Preparing closing documents, contracts and title clearance
- Communicating with clients and preparing closing statements
References are required.
Salary up to $60,000/year depending on experience.
