Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | 40 Hours/Week
Location: Madison, WI 53715
Job Type: Local Contract
Contract Length: 13 Weeks with possible extension
Pay Range: $20-$25/Hour
Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.

Duties:

• Assist providers with patient care in an OB/GYN or Perinatal clinic setting.
• Room patients, obtain vital signs, document patient information, and prepare patients for examinations and procedures.
• Perform clinical support duties while collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Document patient care accurately using the EPIC electronic medical record system.
• Float to other local campuses within the same specialty as needed to support patient care.

Requirements:

Education:

• High School Diploma
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.

Certification(s):

• BLS Certification (AHA) – Required.

Years of Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of recent Perinatal or OB/GYN Medical Assistant experience required.

Skills/Specialties/Technology:

• Recent Perinatal/OB-GYN clinical experience.
• EPIC EMR experience preferred.
• EKG experience preferred.
• Strong patient care, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to float between local campuses within the same discipline.
