Store Manager

We’re recruiting on behalf of a highly respected, award-winning luxury beauty brand, founded by one of the world’s most celebrated makeup artists, known for its skin-loving formulas, cult lipsticks, and critically acclaimed complexion products. Their first New York pop-up launched in late May, and we’re looking for an exceptional store manager to lead it through to the end of November. The role:- This is a genuinely autonomous position. With the core team based in London, you’ll be the brand’s eyes, ears and decision‑maker on the ground, a mini business owner who can handle anything from a tricky customer situation to a stock shortage, without needing to be hand‑held. You’ll lead a team of 10–11 people and be accountable for driving toward a $1.5–2M revenue target over the pop‑up’s six‑month run. What you’ll own:- Day‑to‑day leadership of a team of 10–11, including hiring, coaching and performance Revenue performance against a $1.5–2M target across the pop‑up’s lifetime Delivering a premium, on‑brand customer experience worthy of a luxury beauty brand Operational problem‑solving , stock, facilities, scheduling, with minimal escalation Being the brand’s trusted representative at the store, with the confidence to act independently What we’re looking for:- Proven experience managing a premium or luxury beauty retail environment, not just time served, but real depth The confidence to handle complex people situations, from team challenges to demanding customers, calmly and effectively An entrepreneurial mindset, you don’t wait to be told, you make it happen Strong commercial instincts and a track record of hitting (and exceeding) sales targets Genuine passion for premium beauty and an affinity with the world of artistry‑led, luxury cosmetics Essential: you must have direct beauty industry experience, whether that’s a background as a makeup artist, or experience working within or for a beauty brand.
