Freelance Seasonal Gardeners Needed

Overview We are looking for freelance gardeners to join us for the Summer–Fall season. This time frame will run from now to mid-December. Responsibilities Work as part of a team in outdoor garden environments. Follow directions and maintain punctuality. Carry up to 50 lbs as part of daily duties. Operate a cargo van (driver’s license required; prior driving experience preferred). Participate in paid on-site try-out day to demonstrate ability to follow directions. Qualifications Current driver’s license; experience driving a cargo van is a plus. Previous gardening experience, particularly in ornamental gardening, is encouraged. Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions (highs in the 80s to lows in the 40s). Details Employment type: freelance; immediate start for the Summer–Fall season (through mid-December). Hours: typically 15–30 hours per week, depending on need and experience. Day shifts from 8 or 9 a.m. to 4 or 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Starting pay: $25 per hour.
