Overview Family Dental Group is looking for a Dental Assistant in Flint, MI to assist our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment. Position Overview: As a Dental Assistant you are an integral part of the care team in providing support to the office and assisting the professional dental staff with treatment. Responsibilities Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures. Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post‑treatment care. Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X‑rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models. Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed). Help dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory. Qualifications Qualifications: One year on-the-job experience (with supporting documentation) High school diploma or equivalent Strong customer service and communication skills Positive, team‑oriented attitude with a willingness to learn Reliable and detail-oriented with a professional demeanor Legal Disclaimer: We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
