About the Position

Experience with Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators and Varian ARIA Oncology Information System is essential. Candidates should have the ability to manage an average patient load of 25 patients per machine, totaling 50 patients, in addition to 6-9 CT simulation patients per day. The role requires proficiency in handling both adult and pediatric populations, although minimal pediatric cases are expected. Department-specific equipment includes Varian Trilogy, Varian TrueBeam, and Siemens Somatom. Clienttion Oncologists are on-site, and there is no requirement for the therapist to start IVs. The position does not involve floating to other areas or call requirements. Shifts may include a 5x8 hour schedule or a possible 4x10 hour schedule. Weekend and holiday work is scheduled as required. The cancellation policy may involve two shifts for 13-week assignments and one shift for shorter assignments. Experience with charting systems, particularly EPIC, is preferred.
