POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for a motivated, hardworking, and passionate Line Cook with incredibly high standards to our team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
•\tSet up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
•\tPrepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
•\tCook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
•\tAnswer, report and follow executive or sous chef’s instructions
•\tClean up station and take care of leftover food
•\tStock inventory appropriately
•\tEnsure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
•\tComply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
•\tMaintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
QUALIFICATIONS:
•\tProven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook or prep cook
•\tExcellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
•\tAccuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
•\tFamiliar with industry’s best practices
•\tCulinary school diploma

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

•\tStamina and Endurance: Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods during shifts, often in fast-paced or busy environments.
•\tStrength: Capability to lift and carry heavy objects, such as luggage, equipment, or cleaning supplies, typically weighing up to 50 pounds or more.
•\tManual Dexterity: Skill in handling a variety of tasks, such as cleaning, carrying items, or assisting guests with luggage.
•\tMobility: Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, climb stairs, and reach in order to perform various tasks throughout the facility.
•\tGood Hand-Eye Coordination: Necessary for tasks like chopping, slicing, plating, and working with hot or sharp kitchen tools safely.
•\tTolerating Heat: Comfort working in a hot environment, around stoves, ovens, grills, and fryers for extended periods.
•\tSpeed and Efficiency: While not purely physical, the ability to work quickly and stay focused during high-volume service is critical to the role.
•\tVisual and Hearing Acuity: Ability to monitor food quality, kitchen safety, and communicate with fellow kitchen staff effectively.
