Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)

Earn full time pay and benefits while you assist physicians and other Cath lab personnel in conducting vital diagnostic tests and procedures; and operate advanced medical equipment to capture crucial images and data of the heart and blood vessels.

What You'll Need:

• ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist
• Must have 2 years' experience in a Cath Lab hospital setting
• BLS & ACLS Certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• State specific licensing when required
• Fluoroscopy certification
• Current cath lab experience
• Must be comfortable with conscious and moderate sedation, procedural processes, airway management, cardiac drips such as Integrilin, dopamine, and vasopressors, as well as balloon pumps
• Experience in a STEMI receiving facility
• Experience with cardiac/coronary, vascular, peripheral, general IR, and neuro intervention cases

Assignment Details

• 13-week assignment
• 10-hour shifts
• Call required
• Rotate call for inpatient and emergent cases 1x per week
• Weekend call required 1 weekend per month, running from Friday evening through Monday morning
• Open to block scheduling on Friday-Sunday
• Charting system: Cerner
• 5 suites, including coronary, peripheral, vascular, neuro, and EP cases
• 10-22 cases per day on average
• Agency provides traveler with rad badge
