Job Overview Member Service Advocate – You will be at the heart of the consumer experience, guiding members through medical and dental questions and ensuring a seamless service journey. Schedule & Compensation Schedule : Training phase (~10‑12 weeks): 9:00AM–5:00PM EST. Post‑training: 10:30AM–6:30PM EST. Total: 37.5hours per week. Shift changes may be available with overtime. Compensation : $20.51 per hour ($40,000 per year) during training. Eligibility for salary increase upon training completion and future milestones per the Member Service progression model. Potential annual raise/bonus based on performance. Responsibilities Provide attentive, friendly, and accurate assistance to members via phone and other channels. Explain medical and dental coverage details and help members understand plan benefits. Resolve member inquiries and issues in a fast‑paced, unscripted service environment. Document interactions and follow up actions in the system accurately. Engage in continuous learning and development activities during and after training. Assist with research and provide solutions to complex member questions. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 1year of customer‑service experience with at least 60% communication by phone, email, or in‑person. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new tools quickly. Located in the Eastern Standard Time zone. Strong communication and problem‑solving skills; able to translate complex concepts into simple language. Emotionally intelligent, proactive, and able to multitask in a fast‑paced environment. Preferred: Experience in fast‑paced, unscripted service‑first environments; bilingual capability.
