Logistics Supervisor

Akkodis is seeking Logistics Supervisor for a Contract job with a client in Carson, CA 90746. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on Repairs Logistics or Supply Chain Supervisor with experience in a manufacturing or aerospace repair environment , capable of leading warehouse and logistics operations while driving performance, compliance, and continuous improvement. Rate Range: $33/hour to $35/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Key Traits Proven team leadership and supervisory experience Strong background in shipping, receiving, stockroom, inventory, and planning operations Experience with MRP/ERP systems and inventory management Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles Ability to improve turnaround time (TAT), quality, cost, and productivity Strong communication and cross‑functional coordination skills Aerospace or FAA Part 145 repair station experience is a significant advantage Key Responsibilities Supervise daily operations of Shipping, Receiving, Stockroom, or Planning work centers Lead and manage direct reports to meet customer and operational requirements Ensure schedule, quality, cost, turnaround time, and safety goals are achievedMonitor KPIs and take corrective actions when performance targets are not met Drive quality, productivity, and delivery performance improvements Manage cycle counts and inventory activities in the repair station stockroom Assist with forecasting parts requirements and safety stock levels Education Bachelor's degree or Equivalent professional knowledge with substantial manufacturing experience Experience 3–5+ years of supervisory experience , or At least 5 years in a manufacturing environment Experience in logistics, materials management, warehouse operations, or supply chain Benefits Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑term disability, additional voluntary benefits, an EAP program, commuter benefits, and a 401K plan.
