Williams International has an exciting opportunity for a Production Control Specialist to join our team in cell location Turbine Disk & Blade (8595).

The Production Control Specialist will perform production control work as directed by Team Leader or Assistant Team Leader.

Additionally, the Production Control Specialist will:

• Review MRP release requirements, i.e., Planned Shop Requisitions.
• Review material availability for Shop Requisitions to be released.
• Creates, releases, reserves, issues and receives Shop Orders (Manufacturing and Repair).
• Creates, releases, reserves, picks, delivers and receives Material Transfer Requisitions.
• Process miscellaneous material transactions including scrap, cycle counts, adjustments, etc.
• Physically manage all material movement and disposition related to cell activity.

High School or GED required and a minimum of 6 months experience in scheduling, computer skills, hardware management, etc. Effective interaction with team members, customers and all levels of management. Reads, understands and correctly interprets basic blueprint drawings. -Must be capable of lifting 50 lbs. from floor to waist. (Note - must use a lift assist or assistance from other individual(s) when lifting in excess of 50 lbs.)

-Must be capable of pushing or pulling a weight of 60 lbs.

-Must have grip strength of at least 50 lbs.

-U.S. citizenship is required.

-Position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed. Candidates selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
