Water Truck DriverThe Water Truck Driver will perform a variety of routine and complex transportation work in driving and coordinating transportation plans.Participate in pre-trip preparations of vehicleEnsure proper equipment is loaded on vehicle prior to leaving the yardFill out Log BookCoordinate with dispatch office for job assignments, maps, special instructions, etc…Drive water truckConduct JSA before entering job site and plan entry routeOperate pumpPrepare post trip for any damaged equipmentLoad hoses on and off of truckComplete logs, Job Safety Analysis, vehicle inspection reports, way bills, BBS cards, fuel reportsEmployees in this position are considered confidential, maintaining the utmost confidentiality in dealing with business informationReport all incidents or unsafe actions and/or worksites to supervisorsMust complete jobs in order and notify supervisor or dispatcher of any uncompleted jobsMust be able to work outside in all types of weatherMust be able to be on 24 hour call on scheduled daysThe duties listed above are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work that may be performed. The employee is required to use hands to handle, operate or feel objects, tools, or controls.
