Description

American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for a hospital Operating Room position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Details

• Hospital Operating Room setting, days shift from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Uses EPIC EMR system
• 25-mile float policy between facilities as needed

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience required
• CST license required if applicable
• BLS certification required (AHA certification must be completed prior to start if not already AHA-certified)
• Driver's license required for consideration
• 2 professional references required

Additional Information

• Local candidates may be considered, though local bill rates will differ from travel rates for those residing within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility
• Local travelers are not eligible for renewals or extensions
• Candidates who have worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months should disclose this upon application
• RTO should be kept to a minimum, with 3-4 days considered reasonable for a 13-week contract at the manager's discretion
• Air pods, laptops, and cell phone usage are prohibited on the unit
