Hematologist

Position Overview Full‑time medical oncologist/hematologist working Monday‑Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm at Hoag's Newport Beach, Irvine, and Huntington Beach clinics. Responsibilities Provide primary care for all hematology patients (classic and malignant). Co‑operate with dedicated support staff, including APPs, MAs, front‑office, schedulers, and clinic administrators. Participate in and/or conduct clinical trials and other research. Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of latest clinical research in cancer care. Qualifications Must have or be eligible for California State Medical licensure. Doctor of Medicine degree and American Board Certified in Oncology with fellowship training in Hematology‑Oncology. Minimum of 3–5 years of experience as a medical oncologist specializing in hematology. Active principal investigator in all phases of clinical research for hematology. Passion for providing excellent clinical care, excellent communication skills, and interest in working in a collaborative/team‑oriented environment. Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital/surgical privileges at Hoag Hospital.
