Enterprise Engineer Associate

DescriptionJOB DETAILSDepartment: IS&T Enterprise ApplicationsFTE: 1.0 (80 hours per pay period)Shift(s): DaysLocation: Hybrid (primarily remote but seeking local candidate for on-site system upgrades)Purpose of this position: Under close supervision, provide support for HCMC applications throughout the systems life cycle and serve as a liaison with operational owners / customers. Actively engage in ongoing skills development.RESPONSIBILITIESParticipate in the management of complete lifecycle for small/medium supported applications including Implementations, maintenance, upgrades, and retirementsFind and analyze various error logs (Windows/App/IIS/Firewall/etc.)Understand basic security best practice activities including firewall rules on servers/workstations, password and credential management, TLS, and SSLEvaluate and modify configuration components (.ini/xml files)Learn all IS&T tools (ServiceNow, Outlook, etc.)Understand best practice around security (Servers/fileshares/IIS/Web servers/etc.)Participate in rotating overnight/weekend on call schedule for off-hours supportTranslate technical terminology and concepts to non-technical team membersProvide first-line support, troubleshooting functional/analytical/technical support ticketsWork in a team-oriented and collaborative environmentUnderstand basic DICOM config and message parsing/evaluationReview proprietary interface engine messagesUnderstand basic concepts of HL7 messages and their uses/purposesProvide regular and/or off hour on call support as scheduledPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsQUALIFICATIONSMinimum Qualifications:No years of experienceAssociates of Arts (AA) or Bachelor’s degree.-OR- An approved equivalent combination of education and experience.Preferred Qualifications:Healthcare industry experienceAbility to understand customer requirements and their impact on technical directions of a solutionAbility to develop, document and ensure adherence to technical standardsDetail-oriented and ability to manage one’s own work independently in a fast-paced environment with changing prioritiesKnowledge/ Skills/ Abilities:Excellent analytical and organizational skillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to work independently and as a team member across multiple teamsAbility to independently research and perform analysis to resolve issuesUnderstanding and ability to evaluate and modify configuration components (.ini/xml files)Ability to translate technical terminology and concepts to non-technical team membersAbility to work in a team-oriented and collaborative environmentAbility to review proprietary interface engine messagesJob Level: StaffEmployee Status: Regular
