Summary:
Provides peer support for behavioral health or substance abuse programs. Provides a variety of services to healthcare professionals and clients and assists in the attainment of short-term and long-term goals. Increases the utilization of community services and mentors individuals with behavioral health or substance abuse issues. Collaborates with internal staff and develops customized solutions.

* This position will require successful completion of a Level II Background Screening

Education:
Essential:
* High School Diploma or GED

Experience:
Essential:
* One year of related experience. Must have a minimum of two years stability managing personal recovery.

Credentials:
Essential:
* Certified Recovery Peer Specialist or obtain within 1 year of hire
* Florida Driver's License
* BLS certification through AHA or American Red Cross
