TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Fort Madison, Iowa, 52627!

Job Title: RN Medical / Surgical / Telemetry Profession: RN Specialty: Medical / Surgical / Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:00 PM - 06:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Must-Have: Previous Epic experience required. Traveler will be responsible for self-studying telemetry strips upon acceptance. A basic dysrhythmia test will be given during the first week of assignment. This test must be passed to work on the telemetry/med surg unit. Description: Delivers care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation in coordination with other health team members. Effectively interacts with patients, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining high standards of professional nursing. Provides high-quality care to patient populations including geriatric, medical/surgical, adult, and telemetry. Telemetry ratios are currently 1:5 on days and 1:6 on nights. Floating is required for non-critical care inpatient units, including to the emergency department if there are boarded patients. The estimated hours per week are 36. Traveler will be responsible for self-studying telemetry strips upon acceptance. A basic dysrhythmia test will be given during the first week of assignment. This test must be passed to work on the telemetry/med surg unit.
