PRN We offer: Great culture and team atmosphere 401(k) retirement plan with a generous company match Mileage reimbursement Employee Referral Program Merit Increases Employee Discount Programs Work/life balance What You’ll Do: Conduct evaluations, assess home environment (as appropriate), identify equipment needs related to speech/language function Identify functional speech defects and establish a plan of care to improve patient outcomes Administer diagnostic speech and language evaluations and basic, informal audiological assessments in accordance with the plan of care Recommend communication devices/aids as indicated Prepare reports of diagnostic evaluations and make recommendations Advise, consult, and teach appropriate procedures and supportive activities to clients, families, and staff Provide direct speech therapy services to clients under a plan of care and report responses to the provider Qualifications: Certification of clinical competence in speech from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association Licensed as a speech therapist in the practicing state At least one (1) year of experience in an acute care setting or equivalent Knowledge of principles and practices of speech therapy Current CPR certification Ability to make home visits and provide care in the home environment Reliable transportation, a current driver's license, and appropriate auto insurance To apply, text 9298 to View phone number on click.appcast.io
