Registry Certified Nursing Associate

Position Summary We are pleased to offer the opportunity to work as a Registry Certified Nursing Associate within the Kenneth Moy Care Center. We are currently accepting walk‑in interviews. Compensation and Benefits Base rate for a Certified Nursing Aide is $20.00 per hour plus additional hourly tenure payment based on years of experience.

As part of our registry team, you will work a minimum of eight (8) shifts per calendar month, six (6) of which must be weekend days. All shifts worked must be eight (8) hours. Total hours per year must not exceed 1,000. Schedule requirements: One major summer holiday: Memorial Day, Independence Day (July 4), or Labor Day. One major winter holiday: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year’s Day. Two additional county holidays: Martin Luther King Day, President’s Day, Columbus Day, Veteran’s Day, or Day after Thanksgiving. Physical Requirements Heavy work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than for medium work. Responsibilities Changing, feeding, and bathing residents; attending to other personal and grooming needs. Serving meals to residents and feeding those unable to feed themselves. Performing incontinence checks on every resident every two hours. Providing basic skin care to residents. Noting any unusual changes in residents’ condition and reporting them to the RN. Transferring residents to and from commode, bed, and wheelchair. Taking residents’ temperatures and vital signs. Turning and positioning immobile residents every two hours. Maintaining resident quarters in a neat and orderly condition. Requirements Completion of the State of Illinois Certified Nurse’s Aide Training Program. Passing score on the State of Illinois Competency test. Must be registered as active with a clear record on the State of Illinois registry. Must be 18 years of age or older. A post‑offer physical examination is required. A pre‑employment background check is also required.
