About the Position

Job Title: Home Health RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Home Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: 1 year preferred, will consider 1 year on a case-by-case basis License: Pending license accepted Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: OASIS knowledge is a plus Ability to care for and manage peripheral IVs, central lines, and ports Experience with intravenous infusions, medication administration, tracheostomy care, wound care, and wound V.A.C management Description: The position is for a Home Health RN. The shift is Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Responsibilities include home health assessments and care coordination for adult and geriatric patients. Daily patient visit expectations are approximately six visits. Daily census is approximately 1100. The patient population includes those with conditions such as COVID, CHF, COPD, musculoskeletal issues, and behavioral health. The role involves interdisciplinary support, including physical therapy, interpretation services, and social services. Must have knowledge of a specific charting system. Travelers will float within their scope to meet facility needs, and mileage will be reimbursed. All requested time off must be included in the initial submission. Attendance policy applies. If more than two shifts are missed without reasonable explanation, the contract may be reviewed for cancellation. Pass/fail testing for cardiac dysrhythmia will be conducted. Compliance documents are required to be submitted on time prior to starting.
