Accounting Manager

Responsibilities

Kforce's client, a large and rapidly growing home builder and land development company in the Greater Tampa Bay, FL area, is seeking a high-impact Accounting Manager to join their expanding team. This is a dynamic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment and is ready to step into a leadership role, overseeing a small team while driving key financial insights.Overview:This role blends core accounting, financial analysis, and team leadership, supporting both day-to-day operations and strategic decision-making across multiple active development projects. The ideal candidate is an accounting leader with heavy forecasting exposure, hands-on, forward-thinking, and comfortable leading in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
• 4-8 years of experience in accounting and/or financial analysis
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large data sets
• Proven ability to succeed in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
• Prior experience leading or mentoring others (formal or informal) strongly preferred
• Experience in construction, homebuilding, real estate, or land development is a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.


We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
