Job Summary:

Mercury Systems space and strategic weapons team has an opportunity for an experienced Firmware Engineer to join a collaborative, multi-disciplined engineering team focused on designing, developing, integrating, and testing firmware solutions for radar products. This role offers hands-on experience across the full development lifecycle in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and test firmware.
• Support design teams in bring-up and system-level validation of products.
• Collaborate with Integrated Product Team (IPT) to enhance and support product development.
• Partner with test engineering, systems engineering, and customer support teams to reproduce, troubleshoot, and resolve customer issues.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or relevant technical discipline.
• Typically requires a minimum of 6 years of related experience.
• Experience with Verilog and VHDL.
• Experience with Radio Frequency (RF) and Digital Signal Processing (DSP).
• Previous work experience with AMD FPGAs and/or Altera FPGAs.
• Strong analytical, problemsolving, and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills
• This position requires you to have or obtaina government security clearance. Security clearances may only be granted to U.S. citizens.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in EW electronic warfare), EA (electronic attack), radar simulation or radar testing
• Familiar with lab equipment such as signal generator and spectrum analyzers.
• Experience with Atlassian Jira, Bitbucket, and Confluence.

Pay Grade Range * $87,100.00 - $182,900.00 annual salary for in-office or hybrid employees in FL, GA, IN, AZ, AL, MD or TX, and all remote employees
* $97,600.00 - $204,800.00 annual salary for in-office or hybrid employees in VA, CA, NH or MA
* $102,800.00 - $215,800.00 annual salary for in-office or hybrid employees in NJ Additional Information Mercury considers a variety of factors to determine individual base salary offers to candidates, including:

* the role and related responsibilities;
* prior work experience;
* education, training, skills and certifications;
* internal equity with others employed by Mercury in similar roles;
* geographic location; and
* alignment with market data.
