Schedule\n Day and evening shifts from 06:30 AM to 03:00 PM or 08:00 AM to 04:30 PM. Shifts may vary, and on-call duties are required approximately once a week and every sixth weekend. Job Description\n The Registered Nurse is a professional caregiver responsible for the care and outcomes of a designated group of patients. Utilizing the nursing process and collaboration with the healthcare team, the nurse is tasked with providing comprehensive nursing care in an outpatient and inpatient GI setting. Responsibilities\n \n Perform ongoing and systematic assessment/data collection focusing on patients' physiological, psychological, and cognitive status. \n Analyze assessment data to establish nursing diagnoses and identify individualized expected outcomes. \n Formulate a prioritized, goal-directed plan of care based on nursing diagnoses and patient outcomes. \n Implement care consistently and document thoroughly and accurately in patient records. \n Evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by self and team members, ensuring a collaborative approach to patient health. \n Demonstrate a strong knowledge base and remain aware of emergency protocols, ensuring patient safety. \n Engage in educational activities to enhance professional skills and participate in unit and departmental staff development. \n Maintain effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members. \n Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n \n Current RN license applicable to the state of practice. \n Experience in a GI nursing role is preferred, including familiarity with Endoscopy. \n Completion of required health and safety checks such as vaccinations and TB tests. \n Why ARMStaffing?\n At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
