MRI Technologist

Position Summary Performs routine MRI procedures on a scheduled and emergency basis, ensuring a safe environment for patients while adhering to departmental quality control and data integrity standards. Key Responsibilities Conducts MRI procedures, selecting appropriate equipment and settings to accurately visualize anatomy. Evaluates patients’ physical and emotional needs, developing care plans and explaining procedures to patients and families. Creates a supportive environment tailored to patient needs, responding to individual circumstances. Reviews examination requests, abstracts patient data, and determines the appropriateness of procedures based on diagnoses. Qualifications & Skills Associate's Degree in Allied Health required; Bachelor's preferred. Preferred: Current MRI license and ARRT certification; BLS certification. Eligible for MRI registry by ARRT within 18 months of hire.
