Activities Director

North Olmsted Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Full Time Activity Director! Responsibilities Coordinate and schedule activities and events for residents, including social outings and entertainment Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans for residents Monitor resident well-being and address any concerns or issues promptly Maintain accurate records and documentation related to resident care and facility operations Skills Strong schedule management skills to effectively coordinate activities and events for residents Knowledge of social work principles and practices to provide support and assistance to residents in need Experience in a nursing home a MUST, with a thorough understanding of the unique needs of elderly individuals Excellent communication skills to interact with residents, families, staff members, and healthcare professionals Ability to plan and organize events that cater to the interests and preferences of residents Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
