Job Description

To strengthen our compliance team, we are looking for a motivated student assistant (m/w/d) to support us in the day-to-day operations and in regulatory projects.

• Participation in internal controls and monitoring activities, particularly in the context of securities and capital market compliance.
• Support in conducting daily MAR monitoring (market abuse monitoring)
• Support in expanding internal process descriptions and preparing compliance training.
• Data collection and structuring for regulatory data rooms and ongoing monitoring processes.
• Conducting regulatory and legal research and supporting the evaluation and use of modern software solutions to increase efficiency in compliance processes.
• Note on the job description: Areas of money laundering prevention (AML/GwG) and data protection (GDPR) are explicitly not part of this role.

Qualifications

• Study: Current studies in law (Jura, business law), economics (BWL, VWL) or a quantitative/technical course (e.g., business informatics, business mathematics, data science) – each with an interest in regulatory issues, finance, and data analysis.
• Professional experience: Initial practical experience in the area of capital market and/or securities compliance, audit, or regulatory environment in the financial sector is advantageous.
• IT affinity: Confident use of digital systems and a high affinity for using modern software solutions and digital tools to increase efficiency in research and analysis processes.
• Working style: Structured, careful, and independent working style as well as a quick understanding.
• Reliability: High sense of responsibility in handling sensitive data.
