Power Platform Developer

Salary: $120,000 - 130,000 per year Requirements:

• At least 8 years of expert-level experience developing solutions with Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven) and Power Automate.
• Strong knowledge of Dataverse, data modeling, and relational data structures.
• Experience creating Power Apps Component Framework (PCF) controls.
• Experience building and using custom connectors and integrating external systems.
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, plus modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue, and Node.js.
• Experience developing, packaging, and deploying C# plugins to extend Power Apps business logic.
• Strong understanding of solution layering, application lifecycle management (ALM), and managed and unmanaged solution strategies.
• Experience with role-based security, environment strategies, and governance best practices.
• Strong ability to design and optimize Power Automate flows.
• Experience integrating the Power Platform with Azure services such as Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, and Key Vault.
• Ability to design scalable, enterprise-grade Power Platform architectures and establish low-code development standards and patterns.
• Ability to assess business requirements, conduct gap analyses, and recommend modern solution architectures.
• Experience with DevOps pipelines, Git-based deployments, and automated solution deployment.
• Ability to mentor junior developers and guide teams in best practices.
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams.
• Bachelors degree, or an additional four years of experience in lieu of the degree.
• At least one year of experience with Power BI and SharePoint.
• Active Top Secret clearance required, with the ability to obtain SCI; selected applicants may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
• Preferred: Microsoft Power Platform certifications such as PL-100, PL-200, or PL-400.
• Preferred: Experience with Dynamics 365 and Azure services.
• Preferred: Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git.

• Design, develop, and maintain solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Power BI.
• Lead architecture sessions and translate business needs into scalable, well-structured Power Platform solutions.
• Build data models, relationships, and business rules using Dataverse and connected data sources.
• Create custom connectors, integrate external systems, and optimize API integrations across Microsoft 365 and Azure.
• Develop and deploy PCF controls and other extensibility components using JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Establish and apply Power Platform governance, including environment strategy, ALM processes, and security practices.
• Oversee solution lifecycle management through source control, DevOps pipelines, and automated deployments.
• Review code, resolve complex issues, and maintain solution quality and maintainability.
• Lead workshops, discovery sessions, and technical discussions with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Mentor junior and citizen developers and provide technical direction.
• Work with architects, product owners, and business analysts to refine requirements and guide platform strategy.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation, design specifications, and solution diagrams.
• Design user-friendly interfaces, conduct user research and usability testing, and improve solutions based on feedback.

The salary range is $120,000–$130,000, with compensation based on factors including location, experience, skills, education, certifications, seniority, and business needs; the range may change.
